Nathalie Du Pasquier
16 1/2 x 11 3/4 in
One of a series of drawings of Street Furniture in the Memphis style. George Sowden and Nathalie Du Pasquier collaborated on numerous drawings of interiors, towns and cities expanding the overall view of Memphis design.
In this drawing, Du Pasquier creates a self-enclosed building with checkered outer walls with a sign post on the roof to announce its presence. Inside there is a counter and small shelves for brochures and information. A green floor section with a checkered border, is a welcoming gesture to the visitor.
