As part of Perth Design Week, this exhibition brings together George Sowden's bold BLACK & WHITE works, carefully selected by OFFMARKET Gallery, with a creative design response from René Design. Alongside Sowden's art, René Design will display sketches, architectural models, and diagrams that reinterpret the spatial qualities of these selected works.
Envisioned as a temporary installation, this exhibition will transform the gallery into an immersive experience, using the ephemeral qualities of light, space, and time in the gallery to create a journey through Sowden's artworks.
This journey is designed to not only celebrate Sowden's monochromatic artworks, but also to explore and reveal a thoughtful design response to each piece.
